Inspired by the profound need to share a message, author Annemieke Harmonie shares her life journey in both music and healing. Describing a challenging life worth living, “From My Life you Yours” (published by Balboa Press AU) is a memoir that inspires a new way of living in harmony.
Harmonie views being born with a sensitive soul as both a gift and a burden in society. She discusses how she thinks differently and feels deeply. Harmonie decided to challenge what she sees as outdated or harmful to allow herself to explore new ways of life. Through this practice, she took on a journey filled with initiations, challenges, adversity and magic, using her connection with the natural world as her guide.
Finally settling in New Zealand, far from her homeland of the Netherlands, she raised and homeschooled her three children by herself. Through her journey, music and various healing modalities, Harmonie believes that people can open up to the possibilities of their own journeys as well. About the Author
Annemieke Harmonie was born and raised in Holland. She learned to play the harp at 9. Harmonie graduated from university and received a Bachelor of Education, then traveled the world with her backpack and her Celtic harp. She performed worldwide at castles, palaces, monasteries, museums, wineries, beach weddings, funerals and festivals, and recently played for the governor general of New Zealand. Harmonie started a harp school in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1995, and they traveled with 15 harpists to Great Barrier Island and Waiheke Island for local performances. Harmonie is currently working as a harp teacher and performer, her three children are teenagers and are still at home. She also practices ConTact C.A.R.E and does intuitive healing sessions. Harmonie facilitates harp meditations and retreats to help people develop a deeper connection with their own intuition. “From My Life to Yours” is her first book.
