Flora Backer is one of America’s most celebrated and successful lingerie designers. She co-founded Flora Nikrooz Lingerie with her husband in 1983. The boutique collection pioneered the concept of bridal lingerie and rapidly gained worldwide notoriety with its romantic pleats, sump-tuous fabrics, and eye-catching detail.
Backer left Flora Nikrooz after more than 30 years with her namesake brand. What followed was the birth of Rya Collection, influenced by a new generation of passionate, independent, and am-bitious women.
In the partnership, Rya Collection will take advantage of Montelle’s extensive distribution net-work and established infrastructure, supporting the brand’s growth and penetration objectives. Rya Collection customers will benefit from the industry-leading service of Montelle’s dedicated Customer Service team, an international sales presence, a strong inventory management sys-tem and warehousing in Canada and the US for swift order processing and delivery.
Flora and her team will continue to lead the brand from a creative perspective and will keep the fastidious quality control the brand is known for.
