Lucy is a soul being who was supposed to be born in the 1970s, but because of the environmental Love Canal atrocities, she was never born after her mother miscarried. Now she is an activist soul being who occasionally comes to physical life to move the needle on environmental issues. While a modern-day interview takes place on one side of the stage, on the other side, in the 1970s, Jack and Natasha prepare for the birth of their daughter Lucy in Niagara Falls's Love Canal neighborhood.
