RLTP Expands Literary Department

Wednesday, July 18, 2018 - Road Less Traveled Productions is excited to announce the expansion of its Literary Department:

Katie Mallinson, Literary Manager
Ms. Mallinson will oversee RLTP's Literary Department including but not limited to: National and Regional playwright residencies; Education and Outreach activities; and new script application management. She will coordinate and provide dramaturgical support for RLTP's season, including supervision of Literary Assistants and Interns and collaboration with the Education Coordinator on outreach and marketing initiatives for the company.

Jon Elston, New Play Coordinator
Mr. Elston will administer new play initiatives including Regional Residencies, 10-Minute Play Productions, and Buffalo Stories (annual fundraiser). His Work will include play evaluation and selection, organizing staged readings and workshops, and providing dramaturgical support to playwrights.

Michelle Holden, Education Coordinator
Ms. Holden will spearhead audience discussions, pre- or post-, including curating and moderating of Off-Book Series. In conjunction with her discussion series, she will also develop supplemental materials for audiences, assist in outreach initiatives, and assist with creation of supporting resources for production.

The Literary Department will also include literary assistants who will provide for research, management, and communication, as well as working directly on productions as dramaturgs. In addition to Literary Assistants, internship opportunities are available to undergraduate or graduate students in the areas of dramaturgy, literary management, and new play development.
