Irish Players' IS LIFE WORTH LIVING? to Open St. Patrick's Day Weekend, 3/15

By: Jan. 24, 2013

Is Life Worth Living?, a comical farce by Lennox Robinson; directed by Jean Ryon will play March 15-30, 2013, at the MuCCC Theater, 142 Atlantic Avenue, Rochester, NY, presented by The Irish Players, a program of the Rochester Community Players.

Brief description: In this 1933 farce, a small Irish town invites a troupe of actors to perform serious modern dramas by Checkov, Ibsen and such. The plays are a great hit; everyone in town packs the theater night after night. And what was once a carefree Little Village becomes morose and depressed, ultimately wondering: is life worth living? A very funny look at very serious theater!
