Always on a quest for new forms and featuring an extraordinary repertory of work by some of the world’s most forward-thinking choreographers, New York-based company Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet celebrates a decade with a BAM debut. Showcasing a remarkable versatility—and a virtuosity that’s grounded in ballet, but far more expansive in style—Cedar Lake’s 16 incredible dancers perform the company’s commissioned pieces over the course of four evenings.

In Program A, the company performs renowned Belgian dancemaker Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s much-buzzed-about work Orbo Novo, channeling shifting textures and a profound humanity, with live accompaniment by the Mosaic String Quartet.
