Something Rotten! at Kemptville Youth Musical Theatre Company

Set in the 1590s, the comedic musical follows brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom as they struggle to write a hit play while living in the shadow of Shakespeare. When a soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting all at once, the brothers set out to create the world's first musical. The show features large song and dance numbers and a wacky cast of over-the-top characters. It received standing ovations and 10 Tony nominations during its Broadway run.
