Arlekin presents the world premiere of DELIRIUM, a new adaptation of Eugène Ionesco's Frenzy for Two, adapted and directed by Igor Golyak, running June 18 – July 2 at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. Starring Andrey Burkovskiy and Chulpan Khamatova, the production follows a couple locked in endless argument as the world outside collapses into chaos, and the boundaries between reality and delusion dissolve. Both actors, having left Russia amid political upheaval, bring personal urgency to this darkly comic piece about survival, love, and the fragile architecture of reality. DELIRIUM marks Arlekin's return to Boston following the award-winning production of Our Class, which earned Lucille Lortel and Elliot Norton Awards.
