Beasties: A Sci-Fi Rock Opera premieres October 10 and 11 at the Regent Theatre in Arlington. Written and produced by Gary Sohmers, the show features an all-star cast including Barrence Whitfield, Mach Bell, Liz Proteau, Jerry Bisantz, Bill Holloman Jr., and Cliff Goodwin. The story revolves around a rock band's monumental concert in Central Park, where the lead singer and his stage manager confront an alien presence and a corrupt politician in a battle to save the planet. With 18 original songs, the production blends immersive storytelling with rock music to create an unforgettable theatrical experience.
