What’s The Buzz?  BEEHIVE – The 60’s Musical Opens November 6th at the BCC

      The Barnstable Comedy Club located at 3171 Main Street in Barnstable, MA proudly presents  BEEHIVE – The 60’s Musical created by Larry Gallagher.  Directed by Sonia Schonning, with music direction by Marcia Wytrwal and choreography by Rebecca Medeiros Terkelsen,  the show  opens on Thursday, November 6 at 7:30 PM and continues through November 23  on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM with Sunday matinee performances at 2:30 PM.  Tickets are $35/ $30 for seniors 65+ and students and may be purchased online at BarnstableComedyClub.org or reserved by calling the box office at 508-362-6333.

        The able cast consists of several talented singers that include Emma Anne Fahle, Leslie Gage, Christina O’Sullivan, Sonia Schonning, Rebecca Medeiros Terkelsen and Olivia Yingling.  Added “Stingers” cast members include Nancy Francis, Rachael Kenneally, Karen Santos and Lisa Zinck Taylor.   Cissy George is the stage manager.

       BEEHIVE – The 60’s Musical is a celebration of the powerful female voices of the 1960s. This jukebox musical will transport audiences with timeless hits such as “My Boyfriend’s Back”, “Son of a Preacher Man”, and “You Don’t Own Me”. The story is told from the prospective of six women as they sing their way through over two dozen of the most iconic songs of this impactful decade. Featuring the music of Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Janis Joplin, this toe-tapping, non-stop musical will have audiences dancing in their seats!
