A Little Women Christmas is a play within a play. Set in CBS Radio Studio in Hollywood in 1950, the Lux Radio Theatre is performing a radio play that centers around a year in the life of Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy from Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel. The show is performed before a studio audience, complete with an announcer, sound effects done live on stage, radio ads, and even famous Hollywood actors from the 1950s.
