Weston Friendly Society Announces Auditions for SINGIN' IN THE RAIN
Auditions for The Weston Friendly Society's spring 2012 production of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN will be Tuesday, December 13 & Wednesday, December 14. Auditioners should be prepared to attend both nights. Please bring a headshot and resume, if available. Callbacks, if necessary, will be on Saturday, December 17.
Dancing auditions will be on Tuesday night from 7:00-10:00. Please bring tap shoes. Anyone interested in Don, Kathy, or Cosmo must tap.
Singing and reading will be on Wednesday night from 7:00-10:00. Please bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16-32 bars of a song that best showcases your ability. Readings will be from the script.
Singin' in the Rain will be directed by Mary-Liz Murray, with musical direction by Paul Huberdeau and choreography by Matt Parello. Performances will be April 21, 22, 27, & 28, 2012.
All auditions are held at the Weston Town Hall, 1 Townhouse Road, Weston, MA, 02493.
