The Huntington will present Eureka Day, a satire by Jonathan Spector directed by Margot Bordelon. The production will run May 28 through June 28, 2026 at the Huntington Theatre in Boston. Get a look behind the scenes with members of the company here!
Following runs on Broadway and in London, Eureka Day centers on a progressive private school community grappling with a mumps outbreak, raising questions about collective values, misinformation, and communication. The play premiered in 2018 at Aurora Theatre Company in Berkeley, later transferring to the West End in 2022. Its Broadway production won the 2025 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play.
The cast includes Ken Cheeseman as Don, Nancy Lemenager as Suzanne, Eunice Woods as Carina, Sasha Diamond as Meiko, Japhet Balaban as Eli, and Ebonie Marie as Winter. Understudies include Jeff Church, Jihan Haddad, Christine Hamel, and Ebonie Marie.
Sasha Diamond shared, "When you start to have conversations with people from the basis of them being people, and not them being political plot points, you start to realize taht you share a lot more in common than you thought."
