Theatre@First Announces PRIDE & PREJUDICE for March 23-31, Somerville
Theatre@First has announced an original adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice at the Somerville Theatre, March 23rd-31st.
Adapted and directed for Theatre@First by Artistic Director Elizabeth Hunter, Pride & Prejudice introduces Brigid Battell and J. Keais Pope to Somerville audiences alongside a cast of newcomers and Theatre@First regulars. Technical Director Jo Guthrie transforms the stage of the Somerville Theatre for this production.
About the show: "Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy find love despite differences of class and temperament in this fast-paced staging that transports audiences from sitting room to ballroom to garden path in the blink of an eye. This vibrant production will delight newcomers and Austen fans alike."
On March 23rd there will be an Opening Night Zombie Bash. The audience is invited to attend the show in costume, have their faces painted in the lobby, and go on to the Joshua Tree restaurant for an After Party sponsored by Epsolon Tequila.
