In his fourth appearance at Mohegan Sun, Steven Brinberg brings his tribute to Barbra Streisand to Uncasville, CT.

"It really is my favorite room....great sound, lights, staff", said Brinberg. "It is my first appearance at the Mohegan Sun Cabaret in two years, I have been busy touring". The difference between his show and many of the other people who "do Barbra" is that Steven sings live. No lip-synching for this diva.

The recent release of "Barbra Streisand, The Television Specials" has sold five million copies. Having vowed never to tour again, seeing a great impersonation act may be the closest the folks in the area will ever get to experiencing Streisand in concert.

The only other male performers who do their own singing as Streisand are Jim Bailey, who has been impersonating both Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland since the '60s and Jimmy James, who is a perennial Provincetown fave.

"Simply Barbra" runs Janury 11-13, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
