Regional Dancers Team Up to Create THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE Dance Video
Dancer and choreographer Oren Korenblum (founder of O.K. Dance Company NYC) is currently appearing in the North Shore Music Theatre production of THE MUSIC MAN. In his time outside of rehearsals and performances, he gathered his professional dance friends to create a tap-tastic approach to the title number from THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. With dancers from Papermill Playhouse, Engeman Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, MUNY, National Tours of White Christmas and 42nd Street, Broadway's 42nd Street and the Radio City Rockettes, this video is filmed and edited by Tim Fuchs, with additional tap recording by Michael J. Verre.
The video features Elish Conlon as Millie, with dancers Adena Ershow, Alex J Hartman, Alicia Newcome, Caylie Rose Newcom, Emily JeAnne Phillips, Kim McClay, Maria Garvey, Elizabeth DeMuchele, John Scacchetti, Cameron Edris, Andrew Winans, Carlos Morales, Jesse Kramer, Guy Mannick, Ryan Koerber and Jake Vacanti.
