Reagle Music Theatre to Present A LITTLE BIT OF IRELAND, 3/14-15

By:

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will present the 17th annual edition of "A Little Bit of Ireland" -- a feast of Irish music, folk dancing, and light-hearted comic blarney - for three performances only during St. Patrick's Day weekend, Saturday, March 14 (2:00 and 7:00 pm) and Sunday, March 15 (2:00 pm). This annual musical celebration of St. Patrick's Day, conceived and directed by Reagle's producing artistic director Bob Eagle, is a heartfelt homage to the Emerald Isle featuring a pinch of Irish tenors, a touch of Riverdance and a rousing visit to an Irish pub. A cast of 100 and live orchestra round out this extraordinary production, one of the largest Irish shows in New England. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit www.reaglemusictheatre.com, call 781-891-5600, or visit the theater box office at 617 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA, 02452.

"A Little Bit of Ireland" will Feature:

Broadway couple Sarah Pfisterer ("Phantom of the Opera," "Show Boat") and Rick Hilsabeck ("Phantom of the Opera," "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," "Billy Elliot") performing the beloved Irish tunes that will have all Irish eyes smiling.

Local Waltham comedian and Reagle favorite Harold "Jerry" Walker brings a barrage of riotous jokes and irreverent stories told with an impish grin and the charm of a leprechaun.

Irish step dancing will fill the house when the electrifying troupe from the Harney Academy of Irish Step-Dancing in Walpole takes the stage.

Harpist extraordinaire Judy Ross of Burlington leads an ensemble of 12 heavenly pedal harp players ranging in age from seven to 70.

Reagle's own Irish Tenors crooning familiar lullabies and romantic ballads in lilting four-part harmony.

Spirited Irish classics sung by Reagle's adult choir.

Tickets for "A Little Bit of Ireland" -- Saturday, March 14 (2:00 and 7:00 pm) and Sunday, March 15 (2:00 pm) -- are $35 to $63 for adults, $32 to $60 for seniors, $25 for youth ages 5 to 18.
