Orfeo Group Presents Free 'Look Back in Anger'

By:

Orfeo Group, a recently established professional theatre company fostering the work of emerging performers, designers and artists in Boston, is proud to announce its latest production: John Osborne's LOOK BACK IN ANGER. The production will run at The Factory Theatre, 791 Tremont Street, Boston, from June 19th  to July 6th, Thursday through Monday with all shows at 8:00PM and for free.

LOOK BACK IN ANGER marks the birth of Orfeo Group's first annual "OrFREEo Show" initiative. By bringing a free show to Boston audiences, in addition to its other productions throughout the year, the Group's main goal is to deliver high production values while encouraging the attendance of new theatre-goers who otherwise may not be able to normally afford the ever-increasing price of a theatre ticket.

The play takes an intimate look into the lives of four young, troubled individuals and possesses a particular relevancy to today's world in which many young people struggle to make their voices heard against an increasing cultural apathy.  It explores the multitude of ways in which men and women love, hate, need and reject one another and gives a powerful, often shocking voice to issues of religion, politics, class and relationships.

Featuring : Daniel Berger-Jones, Liz Hayes*, Georgia Lyman, Risher Reddick* and Steven Bakrheimer (* appearing courtesy of Actors Equity Association)

Orfeo Group, Inc. is a not-for-profit theater company devoted to cultivating the work of emerging theater artists in Boston and promoting the vital symbiosis between performer, designer, audience and community.
