From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation The Producers comes this monster of a musical comedy, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, coming alive at Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) from Tuesday, August 15and through Sunday, August 27.
"Audiences are going to love Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein. He is truly a master of musical comedy and this is a great way to end the summer with a lot of laughs." said TBTS owner and producer Bill Hanney. "We have reassembled the cast and creative team of the award-winning production of Young Frankenstein I produced at Theatre By The Sea in 2015 and I can assure you that this will be a side-splitting night at the theatre that will be remember for a long time to come."
This wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend is based on Mel Brooks' classic comedy movie masterpiece. YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein as he attempts to complete his grandfather's masterwork and bring a corpse to life. With such infectious songs as "The Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' On The Ritz," this production is scientifically proven, monstrously good entertainment.
