The theatre, which develops new American plays, concludes its second season under Artistic Director Hal Brooks (Thom Pain, No Child) this weekend.

Huff (HBO's The Wire, Broadway: Take Me Out), Washington (Broadway:Scottsboro Boys, Off Broadway: Wild With Happy) and Moten (Off-Broadway: Annie Baker's The Flick; Broadway: A Streetcar Named Desire) will appear with Olivia Oguma (Off Broadway: Emotional Creature, BFE) and Kathleen McNenny (Broadway: Death of a Salesman, An Enemy of the People) in this new play by JC Lee.

Luce will be having its world premiere at Lincoln Center Theater's LCT3 this Fall.

May Adrales (Thomas Bradshaw's The Bereaved; David Henry Hwang's The Dance and the Railroad) directs.

Luce tells the story of an all-star student, adopted years ago from a war-torn African country, whose parents are forced to reckon with the image of their ideal son when a teacher makes a dangerous discovery. Is Luce in fact the child his parents have grown to know and love?

JC Lee, a recent graduate of the Juilliard School playwriting program returns to CCTP where he developed Pookie Goes Grenading.

All presentations of staged readings are at 8 p.m. at Falmouth Academy in Falmouth, MA. Tickets (suggested donation of $20) may be purchased by calling the box office at (508) 457-4242 or clicking here.
