Joy Unbounded Opens 11/21 At Cotuit Center For The Arts
A revue of both old favorites and hidden gems to be discovered. Featured are seven local, talented singers: Suzanne Corrado, Anna Turley, Meredith Richter, Dave Leigh, Cynthia Csabay, Frank Capitanio and Rob Minshall.
Mix together a young daughter, a lowly sailor, a band of pirates, a sorcerer, a loving couple, a fairy, a duke, a prince, a gondolier and a wandering minstrel and you have the comedic frivolity, the lyrical fireworks and the musical gems by two great artists. Though over a century old, the works of Gilbert and Sullivan are as fresh and sparkling today as the day they were written. We invite you to join us for selections from the most popular comic operettas filled with "rapture and joy"- the timeless music of Gilbert and Sullivan.
