On Monday 7/21 and Tuesday 7/22, a new rock musical with book by Obie Award winner Kyle Jarrow (Scientology Pageant, Hostage Song) and songs by Kyle Jarrow and Nathan Leigh will receive a workshop at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

BIG MONEY, directed by Shira Milikowsky, is set in 1982 and features a synth-pop score.  It tells the story of three game show contestants battling it out for a fifty thousand dollar prize that they all desperately need. But one of them has a secret: after studying the game for years, he's discovered the key to winning it. Based loosely on the true story of Michael Larson, the man who broke the bank on the game show Press Your Luck, it's a funny, freewheeling rock musical about big dreams, big money, and big hair.

BIG MONEY is presented as part of the Boris Segal Fellowship and features a cast of promising actors from some of the country's top graduate training programs, including Yale, Julliard and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

Performances are at 7:30 and 11pm on 7/21 and 7/22, and admission is free.  More information at http://www.wtfestival.org
