Huntington Theatre Company has received 29 IRNE Award nominations from the Independent Reviewers of New England for its 2013 productions. The Committee recognized the Huntington with the following nominations:

Invisible Man adapted by Oren Jacoby, directed by Christopher McElroen (January - February 2013)

A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, directed by Liesl Tommy (March - April 2013)

  • Best Director - Play: Liesl Tommy
  • Best Set Design: Clint Ramos
  • Best Actor - Play: LeRoy McCain (Walter Lee Younger)
  • Best Actress - Play: Kimberly Scott (Lena Younger)
  • Best Supporting Actress - Play: Ashley Everage (Ruth Younger)
  • Promising Performance by a Child Star: Cory Janvier (Tyler Younger)

Ryan Landry's "M" by Ryan Landry, directed by Caitlin Lowans (March - May 2013)

The Jungle Book adapted and directed by Mary Zimmerman (September 2013 - October 2013)

The Power of Duff by Stephen Belber, directed by Peter DuBois (October - November 2013)

The Cocktail Hour by A. R. Gurney, directed by Maria Aitken (November - December 2013)
