Songs by Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricists You Probably Don't Know But Should is Barrington Stage Company's Musical Theatre Lab's season finale. Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist William Finn (Falsettos, Spelling Bee) narrates this fresh, fun introduction to new voices in musical theatre. Finn will share with the audience what makes a good lyric, why some work and others don't.

Songs is directed by Michael Perreca and features the talents of Heath Clavert, Demond Green, Nina Negri, Lance Rubin and Alysha Umphress, with special guest appearances by Will Aronson, Maggie-Kate Coleman, Nikos Tsakalakos, Matt Caplan, Donna Lynne Champlin, and Michael Winther.

The composers and lyricists represented are Deborah Abramson, Janet Allard, Gaby Alter, Will Aronson, Tony Asaro, Nathan Christensen, Maggie Kate-Coleman, Julianne Wick Davis, Eric Day, Carmel Dean, Vadim Feitchner, William Finn, Kirsten A. Guenther, Creighton Irons, Michael R. Jackson, Anna Jacobs, Rachel Jett, Sukari Jones, Kyoung-Ae Kang, Sooyeon Kim, Gihieh Lee, Daniel Mate, Julia Meinwald, Chris Miller, Bill Nelson, Ryan Scott Oliver, Tammy Samuels, Robert Shapiro, Rachel Sheinkin, Joy Son, Nikos Tsakalakos, Nathan Tysen, and Cori Withers.
 
The production features lighting by Kat Fleishhacker and Garrett Herzig, and sound by Daniel A. Little.  Carmel Dean is musical director and Katie Kring is production stage manager.
