Entrain's 'Drums For Peace' Plays Cotuit Center for the Arts 5/23

On Saturday, May 23rd the Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Falmouth Road, Rte. 28 in Cotuit and Major Productions will present "Entrain's Drums For Peace", a multi-media event specifically focusing on the theme of peace, love, unity and a greener world. Opening the show will be a local Wampanoag Indian Pow Wow group.
The day will begin with an ALL AGE FAMILY concert event with doors opening at 3:30 PM and the show starting at 4:00 PM. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. Children under 12 are free. A second concert for adults 21+ will begin at 9:00 PM. Positive ID is required and tickets are $25. Tickets may be purchased in advance online at www.CotuitCenterForTheArts.org or by calling the arts center at 508-428-0669. Advance tickets are strongly recommended.Press notes describe the event as "Entrain's energetic percussion-driven sound will captivate the audience with an explosive 2 hours of drum ensemble pieces with rhythms and instruments from all over the world, as well as the full band playing tunes from their extensive catalog that contains this positive message. The use of projected screen imaging will enhance the show and help to create a visual spectacle.
