According to the recent press release, the concept for the Dynamic Theatre began as an independent project for Jonathan Olivera's original play Rivera Brothers which was later submitted to the Rhode Island Drama Festival.

After receiving positive reviews, Olivera and his assistant director Pedro Ayala decided to continue their collaboration. They created a theatre company for their Senior Thesis Project at the Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center. The company's name is a riff on their nickname "Dynamic Duo".

April 6-14, Dynamic Theatre will present its first production, Media Control.  Performances begin at 8:00 p.m. at the Met Media and Arts Center, 325 Public St.  in Providence, RI.

Tickets are $8.00 and more information can be found at the company's website:  www.dynamictheatre.org
