By: Reynard Loki
Cotuit Center for the Arts offers Art Week from August 24-28. The art camp meets daily from 10am-3pm and includes entertainment during the lunch hour. Students may register for the full week or have the option to attend half days; mornings from 10am-noon or afternoons from 1pm-3pm. CCftA instructor Michelle Law and friends lead students ages 7-10 through a week of workshops designed to encourage artistic expression and raise awareness of the many branches of art. Students are invited to explore the worlds of Fine Art, Music, and Theater as they create under the instruction of exceptional area artists and performers. Projects and themes vary by session.
As class size is limited, advance registration is required; online atwww.cotuitcenterforthearts.org or call the arts center at 508-428-0669 for more information. Fees are $125 for half day sessions and $200 for full day sessions with a $25 discount to CCftA members. Students are asked to bring a brown bag lunch and a pair of sunglasses. For more information, visit http://www.cotuitcenterforthearts.org.
