They Gotta Be Secret Agents (aka Bonnie Duncan & Tim Gallagher) use puppetry, film and partner acrobatics to explore the magic surrounding hand written letters, challenge what can actually be mailed, animate sent letters, and bring to life a form of communication that is slowly fading. Performing a brilliantly imaginative style of physical theater, effortlessly moving between acrobatics, puppetry and dance. Their poetically beautiful, absurdly logical show is by turns funny, dazzling, and, in the end, surprisingly poignant.
Poste Restante has played to packed houses from Austin to Boston, and Providence to Prague. The Prague Post called Poste Restante "Inspired choreography that is so stark and evocative... this crowd pleaser is not to be missed." For six years, Bonnie and Tim's toured throughout the U.S., and internationally, with Snappy Dance Theater, a Boston-based dance company, where their movement was called "breathtakingly simple" by the Boston Globe. In 2007, the duo formed They Gotta Be Secret Agents, and their work has been seen throughout New England and around the world. Currently, Tim resides in Manhattan and is a Doctor of Medicine candidate at New York University, Class of 2014. Bonnie lives in Boston and performs a solo show for families, Squirrel Stole My Underpants, while raising three children under the age of five. ONE WEEKEND ONLY: February 20-23, 2014Videos
