Cape Rep Theatre to Present World Premiere of GOOD BYE MARY ROSE, 9/15-10/16

Cape Rep Theatre will continue its 26th Season on September 15 with the World Premiere of Maura Hanlon's Good Bye Mary Rose. Hanlon will also direct. Performances will continue through October 16. Performances take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm. No performance on September 18. There will be an additional performance on Wednesday, October 5 at 7pm. A theatre company performing on the grounds of an old summer camp is in rehearsals for J.M. Barrie's Mary Rose, a play considered by many to be one of the creepiest ghost stories of all time, when strange things begin to happen. Past events begin to intersect with present endeavors and no one can possibly be prepared for the results.

The cast will feature Cara Gerardi, Charles Powicki, Graham Smith, Ryan Rudewicz, Colin Hokanson, Camille Lajoie, Jed Krivisky, Ari Lew, Emily Blodgett, Nita Hardy, Dick Morrill, and Amanda Collins. The design team includes scenic design by Ryan McGettigan, lighting design by Phil Kong, costume design by Robin McLaughlin, properties by Mary Fritz. Tristan Divencenzo will provide projection design, Dane Leeman is technical director and Christopher Post will serve as Production Stage Manager.

Cape Rep Theatre, now in its 26th season, produces theatre year round in 3 different venues in Nickerson State Park on Route 6A in Brewster, MA. The indoor theatre season opened with The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Circle Mirror Transformation and the Regional Premiere of the Broadway musical Xanadu. Up next is Avenue Q. The indoor theatre also hosted special musical events including Mama and Her Boys - The Smash Hit Musical Revue, Trish LaRose is BULLETPROOF, and the upcoming popular annual benefit musical revue All Our Best, and Sarcastic, Sentimental, Bitchy and Sweet: The Words and Music of Noel Coward. Popular outdoor programming in Cape Cod's only outdoor theatre included the annual favorite Mary Wilson's Pitter Patter Puppets and Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type - A Musical. In addition Cape Rep recently presented the first annual Winter Series in The 45 seat Community Room in the newly renovated Cape House. 2011 also marked the 17th annual Broadway Musical Dinner Revue, a co-production with the Sea Pines Inn.
