Cape Playhouse Unveils New Members Program
Backstage tours, play readings and theatre talks, an insider's newsletter, and flexible ticket programs are just some of the exclusive benefits that are included in The Cape Playhouse Club, announced today by Producer Mark Cuddy.
The Cape Playhouse Club members will enjoy a wide range of benefits, while supporting the Playhouse, and will become a part of the Behind-the-Scenes magic: joining The Cape Playhouse Club as a Member will provide exclusive access to the artistry of the talented team that creates the shows, as well as discount ticket offers. Patrons are invited even closer, to meet the Broadway actors in person at intimate receptions; and by joining Mark Cuddy in the Producer's Circle, patrons will enjoy unprecedented access. All memberships include a tax-deductible donation to the The Cape Playhouse/Cape Cod Center for the Arts, a not-for-profit arts organization.
"We are excited to bring this new program to our audiences. The Cape Playhouse Club is a tiered-benefit program for theatre-goers who want more than just tickets," said Mr. Cuddy. "Members of all levels will enjoy these new opportunities that will give them behind-the-scenes access, custom subscription plans, ticket access before the general public, ticket discounts and our new Insider's Newsletter. With each Club tier, more exclusive benefits are added. The Club will take the theatre-going experience to new levels and perks, beyond our traditional subscriptions. And, with the Club membership, they will also provide tax-deductible support to The Cape Playhouse, the Oldest Professional Summer Theater in America" he added.
Traditional, six-play subscriptions will continue to be offered, and can be combined with Club memberships.
The slate of productions for the historic theater's 88th Season in Dennis, MA was announced recently. Six professional productions - a mix of comedies, dramas & musicals - and starring Broadway actors, will play from June 9 - August 30, 2014. Each production plays two weeks. Casting will be announced in the near future.
Cape Playhouse Club memberships and season subscriptions are now available, through www.CapePlayhouse.com or by calling 877-385-3911. Season subscriptions are now on sale, and individual show tickets will go on sale in late spring.
