Camp Broadway®, Broadway's Original Summer Camp, is presenting three five-day musical theatre camps for children ages 6-9, 10-13 and 14-17 at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts during July and August 2010. New facility owner and producer, Bill Hanney invited Camp Broadway® to offer its acclaimed program at the theatre this summer as the first step in his long-range commitment to restore quality theatre arts programming for young audiences. Celebrating its 15th season on Broadway, Camp Broadway® is a prolific producer of theatre arts programs and special events ranging from appearances in Macy's Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade to Carnegie Hall. The company is also the publisher of StageNotes®, authorized study guides for Broadway shows.

Camp Broadway's Artistic Director, Tony Parise, has worked at North Shore Music Theatre many times throughout his 25-year career as a director, choreographer and actor. He will be returning this summer to oversee the introduction of Camp Broadway at the theatre. In addition, North Shore resident, director/choreographer/master teacher, Karen Pisani will serve as Camp Broadway's Associate Director. North Shore native, Lisa LeMay, is providing Musical Direction for the summer series.

Since 1955, NSMT has become one of the most attended theatres in New England, with approximately 250,000 patrons annually. With a national and regional reputation for artistic achievement, NSMT has received numerous industry awards including Elliot Norton Awards, IRNE Awards, the Rosetta Le Noire Award from Actors' Equity, and the Moss Hart Award. Tony Parise: Director/Choreographer, has been Camp Broadway's Artistic Director since 1998 and has helped devise many successful programs including Bravo TV's "On With The Show", "Accentuate The Positive" for the Johnny Mercer Foundation, and "Adventure Theatre" for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Tony has directed Camp Broadway's many featured appearances in the Macy's Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade and at Carnegie Hall. He began his career as a performer in the national tour of A Chorus Line and was in the original Broadway cast of 42nd Street, Me And My Girl, and City Of Angels. He is now a prolific director at regional theatres across the country. His credits include Mame (Sandy Duncan), Hello Dolly! (Madeline Kahn), Where's Charley? (Emily Loesser), Oliver (Ellen Greene), Grease! (Cindy Williams), Me And My Girl (Tim Curry). Off-Broadway he has directed The A Train Musicals, Pageant, Pirates of Penzance and Balancing Act. For over two decades Tony has served as the director of Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Tony is a dedicated teacher and has presented master classes at the American Music and Drama Academy (AMDA), Boston Ballet, New Zealand School of Dance, The Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, and the Professional Childrens' School.

KAREN PISANI: Director/Choreographer, began her professional career as a performer dance captain in the national touring company of A Chorus Line under the direction of Michael Bennett. Since then, her professional credits include Gypsy, Dames at Sea, Fiddler on the Roof and Stop the World! I Want to Get Off. Karen also served as the dance captain for "Baryshnikov on Broadway" with Mikhail Baryshnikov and Liza Minnelli. For 27 years, Karen has choreographed Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Karen is an accomplished master dance teacher in ballet, jazz and tap and has taught at San Francisco Ballet, Maryland Ballet, Minnesota Dance Theatre, Cleveland Ballet, Actors' Equity Association in Hollywood and has served as Artistic Director of National Dance Institute/New England. Karen holds a Masters of Education degree.

Lisa LeMay: Music Director, has performed on Broadway in Disney's The Little Mermaid and has served as the Music Director, Associate Conductor and/or keyboardist for many national, international and regional productions including The Lion King, How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Old Globe Theatre, San Diego) Brooklyn, The Musical and All Shook Up. Other touring and regional credits include Sweeney Todd, Camelot, Will Rogers' Follies, The Sound Of Music, The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm, Pippin, Applause, City of Angels, Joseph And the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Annie, Urinetown and Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Her work with the Tucson Arizona Boy Chorus spans international performances (Sydney Opera House), arrangements and recordings. Lisa has taught at both the University of New Hampshire and the University of Arizona as well as at the NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing residency (Goodspeed Opera House). She has affiliations with the National Academy of Recording Sciences (Grammys), Society of Composers and Lyricists (NYC Steering Committee), American Federation of Musicians Local 802 and BMI (Writer). Lisa is the Resident Music Supervisor for Camp Broadway and a native of Beverly, MA.
