By: BWW News Desk
Married actors Charma and David Bonanno will head up the cast of Blindsided by a Diaper: The Musical, the next and final event in the Stamford, Connecticut, based Curtain Call Theater's 2007/2008 Musical Mondays series of concert readings. The musical is adapted from the Three River's Press collection of essays about the changes that couples face in their relationships when children enter into the picture. The musical was written by the book's editor, Dana Bedford Hilmer, and songwriters Jeffrey Lodin and William Squier (100 Years into the Heart, Top of the Heap).
Charma Bonanno has appeared in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and Forbidden Broadway in New York as well as touring extensively with both shows. David Bonanno was in the Broadway company of The Light in the Piazza at Lincoln Center, the Chicago companies of Ragtime and Lend Me A Tenor and also toured in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. The couple last appeared in New York together in Lodin and Squier's NYMF staging of 100 Years into the Heart (Book by Richard Vetere). The Bonannos will be joined in the performance by another married acting couple, Shannon and Jeffrey Porper, along with Ellen Krinick-Porto and Michael Pelezza.. The concert reading will take place on Monday, April 14, at 7:30 pm, in the Kweskin Theatre, with a champagne reception to follow. Curtain Call is located at 1349 Newfield Avenue in Stamford.
