The Boch Center announced today that Jim Steinman's award-winning new musical Bat out of Hell THE MUSICAL is coming to the Boch Center Wang Theatre for a limited three-week engagement from April 3 - 21, 2019. Currently, the show "is all but blasting an adoring audience out of their seats" (The New York Times) night after night at London's Dominion Theatre. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 13 at 10:00AM.
Originally written as a musical, "Bat Out Of Hell" went on to become one of the most iconic and successful albums of all time. Forty years later, this critically acclaimed, smash hit "brings the theatre and its audience thrillingly alive" (The Stage) with its jaw-dropping, boundary-pushing spectacle and Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf's legendary hits, including "Dead Ring for Love," "Two out of Three Ain't Bad," "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," "I'd do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)," and "Bat Out Of Hell."
Jim Steinman's Bat out of Hell THE MUSICAL is a romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love, set against the backdrop of a post-cataclysmic city adrift from the mainland. Strat, the forever-young leader of The Lost, has fallen for Raven, daughter of Falco, the tyrannical, ruler of Obsidian.
