Arlekin Players Theatre Extends NATASHA'S DREAM by One Week
Due to popular demand, the Arlekin Players Theatre unique presentation of NATASHA'S DREAM, a widely acclaimed play by Yaroslava Pulinovich starring Darya Denisova, has been held over for extra performances. After two sold-out shows this weekend, the play will be extended for two more performances on March 5 and 6.
NATASHA'S DREAM is a moving portrayal of a young woman's tragic life in an orphanage in Russia. With vivid imagery, original music, animation and 3D-Imaging, the artist captivates the audience with her words, movements and a new way of interaction with her surrounding space. In 2008, this play won Pulinovich the prestigious Debut Prize in Russia. Her plays are now frequently showcased in theaters throughout Russia. The play was performed last year in Russian, and will be presented entirely in English for the first time.
Performances continue Feb. 27 and 28, March 5 and 6, at 7:00pm at the new Arlekin Players home studio at 368 Hillside Avenue, Needham, MA 02494.
The mission of Arlekin Players Theatre is twofold: 1) to enrich, educate and entertain the audience by adapting classical and contemporary Russian literature in a playful and thought-provoking way; 2) to build meaningful connections between Russian and American cultures through shared human experience.?
