Actors inc to Present FOREVER PLAID, Begin. 10/25
ACTORS inc will present FOREVER PLAID which is one of the most popular and successful musicals in recent memory. This deliciously goofy revue centers on four eager male singers killed in a car crash in the 1950′s on the way to their first big concert, and now miraculously revived for the posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was. The show runs
October 25 - 27, and November 1 - 3 at Harmony Hall.
Singing in the closest of harmony, squabbling boyishly over the smallest intonations and executing their charmingly outlandish choreography with over-zealous precision, the "Plaids" are a guaranteed smash, with a program of beloved songs and delightful patter that keeps audiences rolling in the aisles when they're not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 1950′s.
The production features DAVID CUNNINGHAM as Francis, MATTHEW DESCOTEAUX as Sparky, Neil Morrissey as Smudge, and TED RUSOMANIS as Jinx. The show is directed by REBECCA SHANAHAN and features music direction by JASEN WHEATLEY.
Written and originally directed and choreographed by Stuart Ross, music continuity supervision and arrangements by James Raitt, and originally produced by Gene Wolsk.
FOREVER PLAID is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. 421 West 54th Street, New York, NY 10019. Phone: 212-541-4684. Fax: 212-397-4684.www.MTIShows.com
