A.R.T. Institute Closes STAIRS TO THE ROOF 2/6

By: Feb. 06, 2010

The American Repertory Theater/MXAT Institute for Advanced Theater Training's production of Stairs to the Roof by Tennessee Williams, directed by Mike Donahue, will close on February 6, 2010.

Benjamin D. Murphy: worker, poet, revolutionary. When he takes a risk and stands up to his boss, his life changes forever. From factory to zoo to carnival, Stairs to the Roof celebrates the imagination's ability to liberate the human spirit. This untamed fantasy-romance is Tennessee Williams's youthful dream for the wild at heart, "dedicated to all the little wage-earners of the world."

Ticket prices are $10 for the general public; $5 for students, and seniors, free to A.R.T. subscribers. They can be purchased at the Loeb Drama Center or by calling the A.R.T. Box Office at (617) 547-8300 or online at www.americanrepertorytheater.org.
