A SWINGIN' AFFAIR to Launch Summer South Shore Outdoor Concert Series
Boston's premier Rat Pack big band will perform across Duxbury, Hingham, and Plymouth.
A Swingin' Affair has announced its Summer 2026 concert series, featuring three outdoor performances across Boston’s South Shore celebrating the music of the Rat Pack era and the Great American Songbook.
Led by bandleader and South Shore Conservatory Artistic Director Steve Bass, the 16-piece professional big band will perform music associated with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, and Ella Fitzgerald.
The concerts will feature vocalist Donnie Norton alongside special guest vocalist Sarah Bass performing standards including “Fly Me to the Moon,” “New York, New York,” and “I’ve Got the World on a String.”
Steve Bass said the concerts are designed to celebrate the tradition of live big band music in outdoor community settings.
