MOZART & TCHAIKOVSKY 4 Our iconic season opener will have you falling in love with classical music all over again! Feel the infectious energy from the first trumpet call of John Williams’ Liberty Fanfare. Followed by Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 with Bella Hristova, violin. The evening ends with Tchaikovsky’s deeply personal Symphony No. 4, which culminates in a furious, breathtaking finale. Tchaikovsky’s skill in using the orchestra to express universal emotions allows audiences to connect with his music. PRE-CONCERT TALK Join Musicologist Bradley Berg and Music Director Eric Garcia (and special guests) as they guide you through the music you are about to hear, providing an enlightening look at the repertoire and composers before the performance begins. Bring your questions! Please gather inside the concert hall by the stage. Matinee Pre-Concert Talk starts at 12:45 pm (for 2:00pm Sunday)
