The 2011-12 series opens in September with the 1ST U.S. theatrical tour of the wildly popular Blue Man Group. In January, My Fair Lady, the Broadway musical by which all others are measured, comes to the Center. March brings the seven Tony® Award winning Broadway musical, Damn Yankees. The Morrison Center is excited to welcome the 1st National Tour of the critically acclaimed show War Horse, previewing June 2012 in Boise. The Fred Meyer Broadway In Boise season concludes its season in September 2012 with the 25th Anniversary production of the legendary musical Les Misérables.

In addition, Fred Meyer Broadway In Boise season ticket holders are first in line for five very exciting add-on performing arts events, including the comedy hit Monty Python's Spamalot, a Christmas performance by Mannheim Steamroller, Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, a Valentine's performance of Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, and a new explosive musical, Pop Goes the Rock by Cirque Dreams.

Broadway In Boise season ticket prices, including all fees, range from $188.50 - $287.50 depending on seating preference. Patrons renewing their subscriptions receive priority seating through June 10th. Season tickets are discounted 10% off regular ticket prices.

My Fair Lady - Boise

Fred Meyer Broadway In Boise presents My Fair Lady, a sparkling new production of the musical by which all others are measured. Based on Shaw's play and Pascal's movie Pygmalion, with book, music and lyrics by Lerner and Loewe, My Fair Lady is triumphant. With "Wouldn't It Be Loverly?," "With a Little Bit of Luck," "The Rain in Spain," "I Could Have Danced All Night," "On the Street Where You Live," "Get Me to the Church on Time" and "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face," it's no wonder everyone -- not just Henry Higgins -- falls in love with Eliza Doolittle.

The show's 1956 Broadway production was a smash hit, setting a new record for the longest run of any major theatre production in history. It was followed by a hit London production, a popular film version starring Audrey Hepburn, which won eight Academy Awards, and numerous revivals. It has been called "the perfect musical."

Damn Yankees - Boise

This is the story of a 1950s middle-aged baseball fanatic who trades his soul to the Devil for a chance to lead his favorite team in the pennant race against the New York Yankees, only to realize the true worth of the life (and wife) he's left behind. Cameron Mackintosh presents a brand new 25th Anniversary Production of Boublil & Schönberg's legendary musical, Les Misérables, with glorious new staging and dazzlingly reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. The new Les Misérables production has been acclaimed by critics, fans and new audiences, and is breaking box office records wherever it goes, and will thrill audiences in Boise.

The New York Times calls this Les Misérables "an unquestionably spectacular production from start to finish." The London Times hails the new show "a five star hit, astonishingly powerful."
