CYT-North Idaho's Davy Crockett to Read to Children at Local Libraries, 5/8

CYT-North Idaho's Davey, from their upcoming spring musical, Great American Tall Tales, will be reading to children and performing at the Hayden Library, the Coeur d'Alene Library, and the Liberty Lake Library on May 8. Crockett will read from at 10:30 a.m. in Hayden; 1 p.m. in Coeur d'Alene and 4 p.m. in Liberty Lake. Davy Crockett and some of his fellow characters will also perform a musical number from the show and will be available for pictures.
Christian Youth Theater - North Idaho (CYT-NI) will perform, Great American Tall Tales May 17-26 at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater, 1765 W.Golf Course Rd., Coeur d'Alene, ID. It's the story of several school children who meet some of America's most famous folklore characters after getting trapped in a museum overnight during a field trip with their class. With original music, big dance numbers and a humorous yet educational story line, Great American Tall Tales has something entertaining for people of all ages. Seventy-four local school children ages 8-18 make up the cast with an additional 25+ on crew all overseen by 65+ adult volunteers.
