Boise Contemporary Theater Presents GRUESOME PLAYGROUND INJURIES, 1/25-2/18

By: Jan. 17, 2012

Boise Contemporary Theater is thrilled to bring GRUESOME PLAYGROUND INJURIES by Rajiv Joseph to the stage January 25 – February 18, 2012.  In this play we meet eight-year-old Kayleen and Doug in the nurse's office of their elementary school.

She has a stomachache and a penchant for "bad thoughts", he has a head injury from riding his bike off the roof of the school. The powerful connection between these two people will endure many twists and turns with the accompanying bumps and bruises over the next three decades of their lives. To tell their story Rajiv Joseph (ANIMALS OUT OF PAPER) has crafted a dark and beautiful gem of a play about love, friendship, pain and healing.

Preview Performances start at $10 and are at 8pm on January 25, 26 and 27.

All other performances start at $15.

Matinee performances start at 2pm and are on February 4, 11 and 18.

Single Tickets are now available for purchase.  For more information and to purchase tickets go to BCTheater.org.
