Any known? I think it's obvious that Megan Mulally will NOT be casted or Andrea Martin. But anybody have an idea?

I swear I read it from somebody show visited the stage door shortly after the closing announcement was made. When he was asked if he was to do another Brooks show, he said that he would never.
To be honest, I truly cannot remember where I read this or if the source was reliable, but I promise that I read this and wouldn't make it up! (:

Really to be brutally honest, I don't blame him. Brooks single-handedly took his job away from him as well as the countless others that were involved with this production. Gotta say, I was in the minority that loved YF, and Roger and the rest of the OBC were fantastic. As much as I would love to see any of them revive their roles on the tour, it'll never happen...

Posted: 4/10/09 at 3:40pmBrooks took his job away from him? Brooks (mistakenly) gave him one of the biggest Broadway roles he's ever had. If you're talking about the show closing, it's kind of ridiculous to blame it on Mel Brooks.

But Brooks infamously told his principle cast that if they wanted to renew their contracts they would have to take a lower wage since the show was losing so much money. Andrea Martin made a big stink about it and quit, as did a couple other cast members.

Posted: 4/10/09 at 3:52pmBesides decreasing their wage, Brooks was also the one that never changed the premium seating which sold for over $300. Brooks also never discounted the tickets during all the crazy economy...he went into the show thinking tickets would always sell, and didn't really seem to change his mind through all the economy.

Posted: 4/10/09 at 4:02pmYou can't blame Mel Brooks for EVERYTHING. Though he is arrogant, the fault for the $480 premium tickets (that were introduced during the run of The Producers) lies with, well, the producers.
