Do we know who Claude is going to be? We know Groff won't be doing it Could it be Hanke? However on TGO someone said they are bringing in Big names. Who could it be?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

coolkid, your post sounds like some avant-garde poem. I'm going to post like that from now on.
Did anyone see Heidi Blickenstaff go on as Ursula today? She is one of my favorite Broadway actresses. I'm so happy she's finally playing a lead, even though she's a replacement.

Well, the only thing I know for sure is no Groff and no Petina Miller (which is intensely sad). Other than that, it's going to be a mix of the original cast and new people. The only thing I'm worried about is them casting someone good enough to fill Petina's shoes. I'm sure they will.
Jonathan Groff, Patina Miller, and Caren Lyn Manuel are the three principles who will be replaced for the Broadway run.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Based on a comment she made during her concert Monday night, I would say Julie Reiber is probably NOT playing Sheila, but I'll hold out hope for some "Christmas miracle."
zoran912, Saycon Sengbloh has been with the show since the initial concert in 2007. She sings "Abie Baby" and is one of the trio who sings "White Boys," among other things.
Though she could replace Patina Miller as Dionne (she went on for the role for two nights when Miller was ill during the run in Central Park,) she'll be in the Broadway company regardless.
In regards to Sheila, the rumors about Julie Reiber being cast seem to have died down. Most recently, I've been hearing that Alisan Porter (who originated the role of Bebe in the A CHORUS LINE revival) may be Caren Lyn Manuel's replacement.

I hope not. She can definitely sing it, but every time I saw her as Bebe she seemed so obiviously bored by the whole experience.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Claude and Sheila have been cast with relatively 'big' names in the theater world. Julie Reiber isn't one of them. And I believe an 'uknown' has been cast as Dionne. I've heard they're expanding the ensemble as well. Can't wait to see it!
