Does anyone know of some great one act musicals that I could direct in the future for college? I am in a directing track at my college and need some ideas. I would love any suggestions.

there are three one act musicals in Three, and the same thing with Weird Romance, it's three one acts. So you could possibly pull something from those, the same thing with The Apple Tree. Hope that helps.

I forgot to add they have to be an hour or less. That is the only catch cause I have have to do one a semester. Cutting is allowed. Thanks so much

ELEGIES (Finn)

MYTHS & HYMNS (Guettel)

EDGES (Pasek and Paul)

WEIRD ROMANCE

IT'S ONLY LIFE (Buchinno)

DIAMONDS (Carnelia)

WORKING

SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD (Brown)

those are just some that can easily be cut down to 60 minutes... there are many others, if you research. Song cycles are always a good choice.
