and I'm sorry to disagree but Sherie Rene Scott looks like a sea urchin ! to me and Sierra Borgges gliding on a roller skate... I dont know about that ?
I should have not looked at those pictures before I'll see it on 11/25 . I will keep an open mind and hope for the best !
Don't worry J*, when you see it I'm sure Flounder won't be the primary focus of your attention.
I just realized too that they didn't show Scuttle in the video. A lot of people didn't like his costume, but I thought it (with a few alterations) was better than some of the looks they seem to be keeping.
The costume Flounder is wearing reminds me of the day-glo clothes I wore from 89-91
-So, what I was wearing when The Little Mermaid came out.
"Zac is sweet as can be. He's very much just a sweet kid from California who happens to have a face that looks like it was drawn by Michelangelo, (if Michelangelo did anime)." -Adam Shankman.
"I haven't left this building since Windows 3.1!"
"Celebrating a birthday this week: Rene Descartes is 412! Do you know who he is? Then why are you watching this show? You could probably get into college and even get one of those job things. As for the rest of us; Amanda Bynes is 22! Yay!" -E!'s "The Soup"
I had such high hopes for this production. Though this video is not in the context of the sets/scenes, it looks very disappointing. Those costumes are terrible and unimaginative.
wildcard- I agree. What happened to the the Disney's Imagineering team ? Have they ran out of imagination & creativity ? Updated On: 10/18/07 at 12:59 PM
Sierra's pink dress reminds me so much of Christine's Masquerade dress in Phantom. Kind of ironic since she played Christine too. Yeah-I'm still not sure about this. I want to see it, but I just don't want to be disappointed.
Broadway Shows I've Seen: Hairspray, Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors (2003), The Wedding Singer, Spamalot, Riverdance, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Spring Awakening, Wicked, Legally Blonde, Phantom of the Opera, Sweet Charity (revival), Drowsy Chaperone, The Lion King, Dreamgirls(2010 Tour).
Ok, NVM. It finally came up. Wow, hope it doesn't look bad on stage, but looking at that... eek

What the f***, how did those two random kids wearing cheap, home-made flounder costumes/t-shirts sneak onto the shoot?
I swear this is a joke, more and more I see of the designs the more I think that Aston Kutcher in a van parked on Time Square laughing his head off.
You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl
"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
I can not get over those two kids wearing oversized yellow t-shirt , yellow basketball shorts (that you can probbably buy at Walmart) , sneakers and just a spike hair...and theyre suppose to be flounders ! Oh my god ! I wish they change those unimaginative costumes.. I have put more imagination in my fANADu outfit when I saw Xanadu on 8/25 !
Norm Lewis looks hot though !
Those two guys with Sherie - what are they suppose to be ? algae ? I am soo confused ?
Sierra Borges twirling around in skates- that looks like Disney on Ice !
There is no way they are taking Tituss out! He is AMAZING...... And he is in NY doing tech rehersals with them.
Good to know. I thought it would just be the costume they were reconsidering, but Riedel(?) mentioned that he wasn't getting the laughs the big-wigs were wanting... Updated On: 10/18/07 at 03:34 PM
I really wish they had taken some liberties with the costumes more, and thought more outside the box. I mean, even Prince Eric's hair is annoying. I mean, really? A tiny little ponytail? Couldn't we update the look.
WonderRobbie: HAHAHA! that image makes me laugh. thanks for posting it!
"It means nothing to come and sit in a theater night after night and immerse yourself in fantasy, only then to walk out the door and be unchanged in reality. This show will live on in our hearts. But where it truly must survive is in our actions, our compassion and our generousity of spirit towards one another." - Adam Pascal on the closing of RENT
