Announcing: National Auditions for Broadway Artists Alliance’s Summer Musical Theatre Intensive 2007.

Broadway Artists Alliance provides professional level training in the musical theatre arts for promising young artists by affording them the opportunity to study with current Broadway performers and directors who will challenge their development. Past faculty and special guests have included: Jason Robert Brown(Tony Award Winning Composer), Lauren Kennedy (Spamalot, Les Miserables, Sunset Boulevard, etc), Sutton Foster (Tony Award winning Actress), Beth Leavel (Tony Award Winning Actress), John Lloyd Young (Tony Award Winning Actor and star of Jersey Boys), Ben Hartley, Donna Drake, Lisa Gajda, Michelle Kitrell, Tyrick Jones, Michael Dansicker, Richard Sabellico, Steven Lutvak, Glenn Alterman, and many more.

Our Advanced Summer Intensive consists of two July and August Sessions. Enrollment is limited. Applicants are selected by application, recommendation, and live or videotaped audition submission.
Summer Session Two culminates in a final OFF-BROADWAY showcase for industry professionals and invited guests!

National Audition dates are as follows:

New York City - March 3rd
Boston - March 31st
Baltimore/Washington DC - April 1st
Los Angeles - April 14th
Orlando - April 21st
New York City – April 28th
Philadelphia - April 29th

All participants are invited to stay and participate in a group dance combination/ sample audition Master Class taught by one of our BAA faculty members (a current Broadway performer and Dance Captain).

So I heard about BAA through BW.com, so I checked it out and sent in my application for this summer! I got my acceptance in late March. Is anyone from here planning on doing the program? Do they accept everyone?
