I know. 2 totally different styles of acting and singing and whatnot. But, who do you like better?

Nathan Lane!

"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." - Sherie Rene Scott

Even though he's a nasty little bastard, Nathan Lane. I want to throttle Broderick. The only good performances I've experienced from him are The Lion King and Election. That's it.

yes, neither have been very good in a while, they seem to be playing the same charecters over and over (though I heard Butely was a departure from the usual) Lane-the Sceme-ing loud mouth and Broderick the meek quiet charecter (who often finds himself by the end of the show...)

I adore Matthew Broderick in Ferris Beuller's Day Off, but overall Nathan Lane.

I love them both in everything they've done. There's something good about it all. Some more than others... FIRST SIGHT for Nathan, and GODZILLA for Matthew. Why?! *lol*

And to be honest, I usually don't think about one without thinking about the other.

Broderick is a terrible, terribly overrated actor who got VERY lucky.

Personally, I'll say Nathan Lane. Every1 keeps on saying Matthew never comes out to see his fans after shows. Thats just mean.

EASILY Nathan Lane. Broderick on stage makes me want to rip out my eyes, hair, and eardrums.

Nathan Lane without a doubt.

Cannot STAND Broderick.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I've only seen them in movies/heard them in cast recordings, but I prefer Lane.

I personally like both of them. I also think the over criticism of Broderick is somewhat ridiculous.

Broderick was great in H2$

And if they don't come out to see fans, that's their perogative it's not mean. Mean is if he came out and pushed you to the ground. I've seen Nathan Lane come out of the stage door 3 times and he never once of those times stopped to sign autogrpahs. I don't think that's mean

Yankeefan - best comment ever.

The only thing worse than Broderick is his wife

Matthew Broderick!

Nathan Lane is a terrible diva who's voice is enough to drive anyone into an asylum.
