"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
I might try braving the standing room route for that evening, I wonder how early I should get there? I was so friggin happy to finally get to see Patti Lupone live back in November, it is scary to wonder how long it will take for her to do another bway show again.
Just got tickets through Telecharge this evening. There are a ton of tickets still available for anyone who's interested in attending. My boyfriend and I will be there in Mezz Row J!
Can't wait to see the show for the third time. Awww, I'll miss Patti...
I'm so excited to have just found out I'll be there with two of my best friends. I'm frightened of waking up to discover it's a dream. I'm too excited for words.
With all of us BWW'ers going to the show, I have a feeling that the energy in the audience is going to be electric! I'm so excited to see the show again, but this is most definitely bittersweet.
"Of course there is the castle - the ruined castle. I find it lovely. Probably because it's ruined, I suppose." - Passion
When this show was on in London, I was an usher at the theatre, and watched it nearly every night for 3 months- I never got sick of it! It's all because of this show why I started learning the cello! It finished here a year and a half ago and I miss it so much! I'd love to see the Broadway version. You lucky people that are going- ENJOY!!!

I'm in row E, but don't remember the seat right now.
Is anyone going to the Bowery Ballroom show on the 21st? I'm going with a friend who hasn't seen the show, so will probably not appreciate it nearly as much as you guys would. I'd love to meet fellow fans if anyone is going.
Moxie - I hope your parents are both feeling better soon. I went through a similar issue with my father recently, so I know how scary it can be. I hope they both have a speedy recovery.
I was so close to going. I was literally about to confirm the tickets on telecharge, and then it came up that my sister was moving into college that day.
-_-
The padres are not keen on letting me going into the city at night alone. They'd be with my sister in Maine.
*still wants to go*
Shari Lewis: Did you ever wish upon a star?
Lamb Chop: I once asked Mr. Rogers for his autograph.
The only closing I've ever been to was "In My Life". Pretty emotional, you could tell. But I have no idea what the Sweeney closing is going to be like.
Do you think any celebrities will be there? If so, who?
