Yes. I highly disapprove of this decision. You know, with all of the authority *I* have.
You know, if he were happy and like, working, I'd say more power to him. But... I don't get the impression he's too thrilled from reading that blog, and he doesn't appear to be doing anything (on top of the fact that he's kind of missed the boat *anyway*), so he should just come home.
Hollywood is just a very young person's town. It's pretty hard to break into it at age 35. I don't blame Pascal for giving it a try; perhaps if RENT had been a bigger success, it might have opened some doors; but to move to Los Angeles to do an occasional guest spot seems a waste when he could surely do Broadway pretty consistently.
Well, no, I don't blame him either. It just comes across as "I'll go if I HAVE to..." It's a bold move, and we can't say he's not persistent, but... it kind of defies common sense, at this point. I mean, his career wasn't the sole reason for the move, since his wife is a writer, but still. I don't get it.
When I spoke to him this morning he said he was very happy and wished we wouldn't discuss his personal choices on the board.

Honey, maybe you should check in on "personal" versus "professional." (Similarly, you might want to weigh in on "cute" versus "obnoxious.") Let me help you: "personal" would be where in LA he chose to live, or how much he paid for his house, or what he felt like naming his children. "Professional" would be choices regarding his career path, and projects with which he is affiliated: fair game, public domain. What's being discussed here is very clearly of the professional sort. He made this move for reasons to do with his career (as well as that of his wife), and they've both been pretty public about it.
On another note, I was just reading about the upcoming sit-down of Wicked in LA. I know he was considering playing Fiyero here; I wonder if he'd be offered it there.
Emcee, I was only kidding. It seems quite OBVIOUS to everyone else, so don't get all bent out of shape. Secondly, HONEY, don't refer to me as HONEY. I don't even know you.
It's clear you love Adam, but don't let that interfere with how you speak to people. Sorry for anyway I may have ruffled your feathers. Je regret.

I know you don't know me; hence the figurative speech. Argh, I hate having to spell everything out because this is online. If you think I did it because I though I "knew" you, you read totally wrong. Secondly, take your own advice. You don't even know me. Suppose two wrongs make hypocrisy right, yeah?
Your joke was unecessary and annoying, claming something to be what it's not. Whether you found something wrong with the discussion or not, your comment was stirring things up for the sake of it, and that's blatantly obnoxious. Is that a better response? (And as you well demonstrated above, no, it wasn't obvious.) It has nothing to do with how much I love Adam; I was in no way offended in that realm.
DancN, yeah, I agree that it's a good vocal fit, but... he should be able to do better. It's far off, anyway, the thought sort of just crossed my mind.
ETA -- how ironic. You edited to make your post nicer. Now I feel guilty and obligated to accept your apology. Moving on.
No hard feelings, MC. I tried to be witty and failed. I appreciate your honesty in feeling it was obnoxious. I prefer directness anyday than skirting around true feelings. I will abstain from banter that doesn't add to the discussion. You made a good point. :)

OMG, I would so love to go to this. But I've already got my Daniel Powter tickets that my mom bought for me. I don't think she's going to let me see another concert this year.
Yet, I'm really happy that he's here and doing his thing (Heh, that sounded weird). I'm sure many fans over here will be ecstatic for him.
I've just added all the information that I've been able to find about the concert at the Adam-Pascal.com Tour Page: http://www.adam-pascal.com/information/tour.php Updated On: 7/7/06 at 01:59 AM
Did he want to get into televsion and film? I don't mean to say anything bad about him, but to put it nicely, singing is his best attribute. He should stick to musical theater or being a recording artist. I just don't see him being on "Friends."
