any thoughts.

We've already done Last 5 Years,
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change
and
Children of Eden

We also can't do anything too "racy" for our Blue haired crowd like Wild Party or A New Brain.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I'd offer up "Triumph of Love" or, if you think Charlie Brown is overdone, "Snoopy" is a nice alternative also. re: Need 2 smallish musicals for season next year...

On the MTI website you can use something called the "Show Selector" and actually have them narrow down your choices for you based on your input, such as cast size, musical difficulty, required choreography, etc. It's very helpful in these instances.

Forever Plaid and The Taffetas could make a good season.
Or
1940's Radio Hour has a small cast and great music. Blue Hairs would love it.

Other Options...
Do Patent Leather Shoes...
A Grand Night for Singing

"The Apple Tree" is my personal favorite. It has 3 different stories and can be adjusted accordingly for cast size. Sets can be simple or elaborate. It's great. The music is fantastic.

Snoopy is great for a small cast and it also requires little to no set.

I'll 2nd A Class Act. I saw it done in a 100 seat theatre with virtually no set, props, or costumes, and it was brilliant because the actors could pull off playing the multiple roles as needed.

If you've got enough older actors, 70, Girls, 70 could be done fairly simply as well.

I haven't seen a production, so I don't know the requirements, but I think A Man of No Importance is one of the best scores of the last decade. I would certainly give it a look.

We just had great success with BY JEEVES - 10 characters, one easy set, and the name "Andrew Lloyd Webber" to sell tickets.

"Lucky Stiff" by Flaherty and Ahrens is a lot of fun and can be done with a cast of ten or so.

"Closer Than Ever" by Maltby and Shire needs only four people.

"A coherent existance after so many years of muddle" - Desiree' Armfelt, A Little Night Music "Life keeps happening everyday, Say Yes" - 70, Girls, 70 "Life is what you do while you're waiting to die" - Zorba

I agree with the suggestion of TinTypes.

What about Maltby and Shire's Baby?

Baby has a cast of 12 (or more if you like).

Yes, Lucky Stiff is written for a cast of 10.
